What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic patterns (page views, referral source, country-level location, device type). This data is anonymized and never linked to individual identity. You can opt out via your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or a GA opt-out browser extension.

Affiliate cookies

When you click an affiliate link on this site, the destination provider (Hostinger, Cloudways, Hetzner) may set a cookie to attribute your eventual signup to us. This cookie is set by the provider, not by us, and we never see your purchase details — only an anonymous "this came from our site" attribution.

What we don't do

• We do not run advertising trackers beyond Google Analytics 4.
• We do not have a newsletter sign-up form, so we do not store your email.
• We do not sell, share, or rent any data.
• We do not use Facebook Pixel, X/Twitter pixel, or any third-party retargeting.

Cookies

We set:

• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4 (anonymized session ID)
• Affiliate cookies (set by destination provider when you click an outbound link)

Your rights

If you want any analytics data associated with your visits removed, email editor@hostingdiscounts.org and we will request removal from Google Analytics for the timeframe and country you specify.
