2. Stable Windows runtime for MetaTrader 4 / 5. MT terminals need to stay connected continuously. A reboot in the middle of a trade is bad. The actual technical requirement is "a Windows VPS that doesn't restart unexpectedly," which any of the listed providers will give you.

Shared vCPUs are genuinely fine here: a candle-close EA sits idle almost all the time and spikes briefly on each tick batch, so you will never notice the difference from dedicated cores in live trading.

A cheap forex VPS is still $130+/year, and a specialist one is $400+. Here's every case where the honest advice is to keep your money:
